How Much Does Paint Correction Cost?

Our single-stage paint correction is £750 and two-stage correction is £1,150. Advanced or show-car work is quoted after inspecting paint depth, defect severity and the finish you want.

Single-stage versus two-stage correction

Single-stage work uses one compound-and-refine step and is suited to lighter swirl marks and loss of gloss. Two-stage work uses a heavier cutting stage followed by refinement, making it better for more established defects while restoring clarity.

  • Show-car correction: quoted after inspection

What affects the cost

Paint condition matters more than the badge on the bonnet. We consider panel size, paint hardness, previous repairs, remaining clear-coat depth and the number of safe machine-polishing stages needed.

Why paint depth is checked first

Correction removes a controlled amount of clear coat to level defects. Measuring every panel helps us identify thin areas and previous repairs, then choose the safest realistic result instead of chasing an unsafe percentage.
